Hunter Research, Inc., an archaeological and historical consulting firm, has
an opening for a Laboratory Supervisor.  The position entails organization
and management of wet and dry lab operations; processing and cataloging of
archaeological materials; supervision of assistant laboratory supervisors
and laboratory assistants; and administration of laboratory equipment and
supplies.
 
Minimum requirements: B.A. required, M.A. preferred, in either Archaeology
or Anthropology. 1 to 2 years cataloging and supervisory experience
required.  Basic knowledge of both prehistoric and historic artifacts
essential, as is experience with standard database and word processing
packages. Initial 6 month to 1 year contract, starting as soon as possible.
Rate negotiable, based on experience.  Benefit package available.
