Hi
I am looking for information on "the science in archaeology" not
the science of archaeology. My area of intrest is the Queen Charlotte
Islands in B.C. Canada and the Haida Indians. If anyone has information
about how sciences such as dendro chronology, isotope analysis, techtonic
activity, forensic data (causes of death - diet, desease), the science of
artifact conservation and how they have helped archaeological research (in
Charlotte area) I would greatly appreciate it. I have found site reports
on the area and mentions of techneques of inquires in the area but am
hopeing someone out there may have other information which would be
benificial to me. Also if anyone knows of any good books of the science in
archaeology, which are not to general but not dominated by one area of
study, I would also appreciate them.
Thank you: Michael Campbell
