If you are planning on going away during the Winter Break, it might be a good
idea to set your subscription to NOMAIL so that your mailbox does not runneth
over while you are gone.
 
To do this, simply send the command SET (listname) NOMAIL to the listserv
([log in to unmask]). When you return, send the command SET
(listname) MAIL to the same address. This will allow you to turn off your mail
without having to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe when you return.
