i'm in ne florida where it is pretty hot by this time of the year. i have
found that the best time for me to work my hives is at 2:30 in the
afternoon. the sun is at it's hottest and it seems that most of the girls
are out in the field working! most of the time i can work them with just a
smoker and no veil, yes, not always the smartest thing to do. however, they
don't bother me and only once in awhile if i push too hard does one express
it's opinion. however, i have bursitis (sp) in both shoulders and the
stings help greatly to relieve the pain.
