Concerning the recent discussion of training in archeology, ie. proposal
writing, scheduling, overseeing excavation, etc. The University of
Arkansas has an internship program with the Arkansas Archeological Survey
that serves very well to train students in such matters. I should know,
I was the third graduate of the internship, and am now employeed by the
AAS as a Project Archeologist/PI. I also recently turned down three
other job offers, two from private CRM firms.

Thought you might like the info.
