Wake County Agricultural Center
NCSBKA along with UNC runs a Master Beekeeping program
consisting of four increasing difficult levels, each
attained by three areas of examination, (written,
practical field examination, and public service).
Field exam is having you open up a live hive and
explain what you see now and what is should look
like in the fall or winter. Public service credits
are earned by being an officer in a local bee club,
giving a bee related demo at a meeting, getting
positive exposure in the local news media, etc.
Learning sessions are held on site prior to
convening spring and summer meetings. NO FEE.
