I am posting this questionnaire to various preservation related list
servers at the request of the local community college.  Please forward your
responses to the email or ground address listed below in the questionnaire.

EMPLOYMENT NEEDS ASSESSMENT
HISTORIC PRESERVATION TECHNOLOGY
 
 
Randolph Community College, Asheboro, North Carolina is planning a two-year
program in Historic Preservation Technology.  Students in the program will
concentrate in either archaeological resource management or architectural
resource management and restoration.  Graduates of the program will be able
to conduct background research, field surveys, laboratory analysis, and
assist in general resource management duties for their respective areas of
concentration.  The first class from this program is expected to graduate
in 1999.
 
We need your help.  As part of the program planning process, the college
must document employment needs for the historic preservation technician.
