I certainly would not work for a company that put me in those positions.  You
should have your resume out on the street, and be reading every job posting
you can find.  Good luck in finding a position agreeable with your high
standards and morals.
 
Unfortunately, I don't think there is much you can do to remedy the situation
at your present place of employment.  I speculate that these circumstances
are known to the business owner.  Generally speaking, but certainly not
always, unscrupulus businesses ultimately fail in archaeology.
