It was with interest that I tuned into the bottle reference discussion
on HISTARCH not too long ago. I am presently studying the late 19th/
early 20th century Euroamerican influx into interior Alaska for my
dissertation in historic archaeology. With a couple more field seasons
to go, I am in the process of gathering source materials (among other
things! Some readers might remember the Coldfoot, Alaska hist. arch.
field school announcement I made not too long ago). The bottle references
I picked up over the list include: P.D. Schultz et al. 1980; McKearin &
Wilson '78; Fike '87; Toulouse; Wilson '61; Switzer '74; Ketchum '85;
Baldwin '73; and Creswick (date?). Further references on bottles,
particularly late 19th/early 20th cent. bottles, would be GREATLY
appreciated. Thank you in advance.
