Hi everyone,
 
I was the one who was planning the SHA Get-Together.  I just
finished with my exams, and was getting ready to post the
details.  I got about 10 or so responses, and the most
popular choice was to do something like dinner either at the
hotel, or at another place easily accessible (the Brickskellar
got several votes!).  It seems to me that the best time would
be in the evening.  Wednesday is bad, as the plenary session
and reception is being held at that time.  Thursday seems good,
unless people are going to the 7:30-10:00 "Reception at the
US Capitol."  Friday night is the banquet.  Saturday night
also seems good, but it's the last day and people might be
leaving.  So, to summarize:
 
Location:  either hotel or somewhere nearby
Date/Time:  Thursday night or Saturday night
 
Anita, if you'd like to take over planning, I don't mind!!!
Otherwise, let's all decide on the list what the best time
and place is for the majority of the people.  Then we can go
from there.
 
If we can't figure out something, I guess we could try to
do small lunches or something.  I live in Northern Virginia,
so if anyone wants to contact me directly, e-mail me and I'll
give you my phone number so you can call and get details when
you arrive.
