Thans to Carl Steen, Pat Reynolds, Lauren Cook, and William Moss
for information on term medicine, medecin.
Our collection has the Jesuit Relations and its index, and has been
a source for some data already.
One other related question which perhaps William Moss may know?
I have been acquiring names of colonial soldiers who served at
Michilimackinac from printed sources such as Wisconsin Historical Collections, M
ichigan
Pioneer & Historical Collections, and NY Colonial Documents, and Tanguay's
Dictionnaire..., etc.
Other than RAQ are there any French printed sources or manuscript sources
that could be recommended for obtaining additional lists or information
about those serving at Michilimackinac.
