Small News for those who might be interested: I have just gotten the report
on 1994/1995 excavations at John de la Howe's Lethe Farm back from the
printer, if anyone wants a copy. This report has some 250 pages, including 60
figures, about 20 of which are color. The artifact plates are all in color as
are most of the distribution maps. This report cost me about $35 per copy,
and I will make it available to SHA members/Histarch subscribers for cost.
This site has produced good info on: Ethnicity; Colonoware; Clay walled
houses; upper and lower status artifacts; frontier life; etc etc. It is
undisturbed and has a tight occupation period--1760's--1806.
