Hi! I have been asked to make inquiries on behalf of a university client
about various funding options for the development of an educational CD-ROM.
The client has been participating in a major dig in northern Israel and
collected a wealth of historical data which they would like to incorporate
into an interactive CD-ROM for the education and home consumer market.
They are interested in hearing from any other educational institutes who
have created similar projects (though not necessarily limited to the field
of archaeology). Specifically, they would like learn about how the project
was funded, ownership and copyright issues, distribution, potentials for
commercial profitability, etc.
If you have had any experience in this area, I would appreciate hearing
from you. I will pass the information on to the client and they can then
continue the dialog.
Thanks..... and if you're a Mac user, be sure to check out MacWare Revue.
