I wonder after reading new comments if the bees are going for sweat
because it is salty? The resultant stings we get are because we trap
them on various parts of ourselves and all these parts would have
surface salt due to being sweaty - sorry but I assume we all sweat!
Having said that I do have a friend who keeps a large number of hives
and he used to have one of those bee hats with a veil that just sat
on your hair. Unfortunately he was very thin on top and they always
stung his forehead through the hat when he got sweaty. He cured this
by getting a Sherrif hat.
