Could you send me more information about your turkey "gizzard stones"?
We have found lots of very small ceramic sherds (as well as a few pieces
of bottle glass) that are very smooth, and often are lacking glaze,
although some still retain some of their glaze. They tend to be rounded,
roughly oval, although some form perfect isosceles triangles (do we have
gifted poultry??) How big were your stones? Any particular shape? How
many were associated with the turkey? Thanks for your help!
