Dear All,
 
The Australian National Maritime Museum is currently examining a travelling
exhibition proposal based on the excavation of a Spainish vessel off the coast
of the Phillipines called 'San Diego'. The excavation was carried out by an
organisation called World Wide First in cooperation with the National Museum of
the Phillipines.
 
I would be grateful for any information concerning the excavation of the 'San
Diego' and in particular information on World Wide First ( main reasons for
excavation ? how do they fund excavation work ? do they have archaeologists on
staff ? etc).
