The University of West Florida Archaeology Institute in Pensacola, Florida
is searching for a senior archaeologist to assist in administering
archaeology institute and participate in research and teaching. The program
includes academic and public, prehistoric and historic, terrestrial and
nautical archaeology. There is a permanent professional Institute staff of
6 plus several graduate and undergraduate students working and doing
research on various projects. We need a senior archaeologist with 10+ years
in research and administration in wide range of projects, preferably within
a university setting. The PhD is preferred. This is a full time, non-
tenured position with the opportunity to increase salary with grant and
contract awards.
