The Cultural Resource Group, Louis Berger & Associates, Inc. (LBA) solicits
applications from physical anthropologists to fill a position opening as
Human Osteologist in our Iowa office.
We seek highly motivated individuals to pursue quality archaeological
research in a CRM context. The Human Osteologist's responsibilities include:
oversee excavations, coordinate and supervise osteological analysis, and
undertake specialized studies such as discriminate function analysis,
paleopathological examinations, stature estimations, etc.
A graduate degree representing specialized training in forensic osteology,
bio-archaeology, skeletal biology, or other relevant aspects of physical
anthropology is required. Three years experience in conducting laboratory
analysis with emphasis on forensic osteology is also necessary.
Pending funding, this is a full-time position of at least three years
duration. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate. Competitive
