In reference to Ray Dausman's note...

You may want to contact Dr. William Lees with the Oklahoma Historic
Preservation Office (405-521-6249) in Oklahoma City, Okla. He currently
serves as the chief historic archaeologist for the state, and as part
of his doctorate, he researched/excavated a historic site in eastern
Kansas. Though I have not read his dissertation, I am told that it contains
a detailed discussion and seriation of windowpane glass. His publication,
"Jotham Meeker's Farmstead, Historical Archeology at the Ottawa Baptist
Mission, Kansas" [1985, Kansas State Historical Society, Anthropological
Series Number 13, Topeka] may include this discussion.

Folk's on staff with the Oklahoma Historical Society (405-521-2491) could
likely give you information as well. Good luck. bbbailey
