Ms. Cohen-Williams writes,

>own posts.

I personally could not agree more. Though up to this point I have been a
confirmed lurker, the subject of said "momzer" and his antics requires that
we, the subscribers to HISTARCH, come to some consensus in terms of dealing
with the "momzer's" posts. I appreciate Ms. Cohen-Williams' efforts towards
dealing with this in a democratic fashion. I assume that as the various
listserves become increasingly popular, there will always be one or two
individuals who use the service as a soapbox. So go ahead and let the
"momzer" post all he likes, we don't HAVE to read it. I do agree with
other folks, however, that his attacks on Dr. Sheets were way out of line.

(As his posts become increasingly pugnacious and truculent, I keep expecting
to enter my email and see that he has finally imploded, leaving only bits
and pieces of his verbal garbage splattered across my monitor).

Now on to more important things... Could someone please define exactly
what a "momzer" is? Call me ignorant, call me an idiot, but I have never
heard that term (in any context) used prior to Ms. Cohen-Williams' note.
