I can't help you with Ontario outbuildings, but I can give you some
direction for the Chesapeake region. See Camille Wells's essay in a
recent (I think 1993 number) of _Winterthur Portfolio_. Also, contact the
Office for Architectural Research at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
