Terra patties or any other medication, should not be left in the hive when
producing honey for human consumption. This cannot be stressed strongly enough.
If you want to keep patties on the bees to control "T"mites, leave out the
terramycin. The shortning is waht does the job on the mites. Terramycian only
needs to be fed twice a year on producing colonies.
I personaly remove all medication 4 weeks prior to puting on honey supers for
harvest.
