I just read in our local paper that the 50th year for aluminum siding was
just celebrated. It was first put on a house in Louisville, Kentucky by
Reynolds Aluminum . Does anyone have more detailed information on the
origins and spread of the use of this material? We are constantly dealing
with this and vinyl siding and what the materials date to on historic
buildings.
