While it is true that the University of Arizona does not have a specific
program in historical archaeology, Dr. J. Jefferson Reid does have an
interest in historical archaeology.  He and some of his students have
recently done research for the BLM at the site of a Spanish Colonial
presidio, Santa Cruz de Terrenate, in Cochise, Co., AZ.
