I don't know what the news coverage of the recent salvage attempts has been
like elsewhere, but in my area the newspapers and TV news shows have covered
the Titanic stuff without any mention of opposition to the whole thing. I
find that to be quite disturbing... Where are the loud and squeeky wheels
who could (or should) be out there educating the public--even if they can't
stop the looting?
