There are a lot of good potential speakers to help with this
topic area and I would be willing to help find one for
whomever organizes the symposium. I worked at OSHA about 15
years ago as a special assistant in toxicology with
"executive official" inspection credentials. I also do a
little archeology on weekends, but am a toxicologist rather
than archeologist. My archeological experience includes
locating an old well at 18FR696 and planning the recovery of
it. (Findings at FR18696 are in Maryland Archeology, V 31,
pp 9-24, 1995).
Anyway, I have an understanding of both areas (OSHA and
archeology). I would be willing to assist anyone who is a
real archeologist (or an OSHA safety inspector with
experience) and wants to help others learn more about the
nexus between occupational safety and health, and
archeology.
