        A fairly complete account can be found in Norm Gary's chapter 8
("Activities and behavior of honey bees) in the massive book, THE HIVE AND
THE HONEY BEE, published in 1992 by Dadant and Sons (Hamilton, Illinois).
Libraries should have copies; if not, they should order one.
 
        The particular information about honey conversion from nectar can
be found on pages 326-332.
