Dear Peter Kevan,
 
you were asking, how much nectar is in a crop load and guessed that it might be
about 1 milliliter.
 
1 milliliter of nectar weighs about 1 gram. 8 times more than a bee!
 
The full crop load of a honeybee forager is about 50-60 microliters on average.
