I suppose (?) that you need a Tauber trap based on the sedimentation
principle. You can use it in out of the way places,
without using electricity. It's a not volumetric trap that
results in "semi-quantitative" data. You can identify the pollen
grains with help of the light microscope. I don't know where
you can buy it.
(BTW, spore trapping is one of the subjects of the disciplin
of Aerobiology. Recently, I wanted to start an AEROBIO-List,
