Harbo Assays on his top stock
Harbo assays unfortunately don't actually detect SMR, to do so one must
cover the sealed brood to prevent VSH.

The only legitimate assay for SMR would be along the lines of the excellent
project by  Nicholas Scaramella.  I've corresponded with him, and had hoped
to perform the assay on my stock this summer, but was too overloaded with
other field trials and experiments to do so.
