A friend who lives in Washington DC (Capital City of USA) who reported that
members of her bee club are seeing dandelions in DC and the suburbs.

 

I stated that my bees had a mild January, too - nothing below 20 F (-6 C) at
night.

 

Then she mentioned that it had been 80 F last Friday.  This was the highest
January temperature ever recorded there.
