The most important beekeeping tool is a notebook and a pencil, without question.

Even if you don't have a smoker, and lost your hive tool, you can still observe and take notes.
Without notes, one is doomed to repeat the same year, over and over again.

These are my favorite - recycled paper, and a cover design special request, so for $6, represent.
