A brief tale from happier times.
Kim was Chairman of the Eastern Apicultural Society for many years. EAS 2006 was to be in Georgia, and they threw a Southern Ball, so Kim and I wore Union uniforms, as ya gotta represent. We avoided being hung somehow.
At the same EAS, Steve Forrest of Brushy Mountain Bee Farm had brought a large shipment of moonshine from a moonshiner "near him" (wink, wink, we all knew it was Steve's own still), and at the Bar-Q-Que, Kim and Kathy enjoyed perhaps a little more than they should have.
"Here's my keys, Jim" said Kim to me later in the evening. "You had better drive us back up to the dorms - I can't feel my legs anymore."
Good times.
