Let me make one observation.
I bought a slightly better quality thermal camera for under $700. I have it for a week. The first thing that surprised me was that the shiny surface appears to radiate heat from a certain angle. At the same time, the temperature after angle correction was only slightly different. So how to evaluate a bee in a swarm is all about corrections and I assume viewing a single point from multiple angles in real time. If the observation object is smaller and morphologically more fragmented, it needs more correction.
