Yes, well, everyone from Prof Ed Southwick to Prof Jamie Ellis uses the comparison.  The whole question of anthropomorphism is a red herring. The very idea that animals are somehow not like us is what is actually wrong. It's time to end the whole notion that humans are vastly different from all other creatures. I am vastly more concerned about anthropocentrism.
