We have a problem with a city council accepting complaints of bee poo on windows, up hill, 100 metres from three hives.

This has been on-going for 12 months. Six hives were reduced to three but the complaints continue. The council wants the hives moved away.

There are a lot of hobby hives in the area but the council seems to be picking on just one beekeeper.

I know from my observations at bees eliminate any extra weight when the encounter wind and this excrement
falls in the direction of the wind,(coming from the windy city). In my case directly on to a car dealers car park.

Also having bees sites in regional parks for over twenty years, I had to move sites as the trees and bushes within 20 odd metres grew much taller around the hives until they got shaded out.

Has anybody every researched this subject.
