If you are talking about imported Tilia, here they bloom towards the end of June, but they are not as prevalent in this region as downstate. What is prevalent here is the American basswood, which does not bloom until July. 

Further, it is one of the most unreliable honey plants there is, unlike the imported varieties. I have never seen a faster honey flow than that from American basswood, but it happens maybe one year out of five.

What I have learned from living in this region for 30+ years is that every single year is different and there are no sure bets.
