I just tried it as an experiment to correct a laying worker problem with a hive going into winter.

Shaken on to wet grass in the shade while it was still cool. Yes lots of bees returned immediately.



 Added extra bees and a frame of capped brood plus an older caged queen.

We’ll see what happens.
