> Does anyone have any evidence that laying workers can't also fly?

Wyatt Mangum (November 2021 ABJ) described how he identified and marked 150 laying workers in an observation hive, then carried the hive 150 feet away and shook the bees into the grass. All but the newly emerged bees flew off immediately. Most of the laying workers beat him back to the hive location.
