The Australian beekeepers widely use single brood chambers, bottom
supering. Perhaps some of them can comment.
> No queen can lay a single full of brood, but some can do maybe 60 to 75%
at peak laying.
I've seen the rare colony where they've got wall-to-wall brood in single,
but haven't confirmed that there weren't two queens present.
Observations by others? I encourage lurkers to join threads in which we
are discussing beekeeping observations and practices.
