The whole conversation about what is more important: honey bees, native bees, agriculture, native habitat, etc. reminds me of a bunch of kids on the beach having a sand castle competition, oblivious of the fact the tide is coming in. If you think I am being facetious, note that the plans to deal with varroa mites in Australia have just been sidetracked by widespread flooding.
