Exactly, and the issue I have is that beekeepers will falsely assign what they imagine as behavioral characteristics associated with an ancestral heritage and then expect their bees to behave in concert. It discourages observational beekeeping and leaves some beekeepers vulnerable to purchasing expensive queens that are simply bee stock.
