They were asked for the normal period for colony collapse due to varroa in
their region, whether is was during or after a nectar flow, and when they
observed the collapsing or collapsed colonies being robbed.

Are all of the surveyed indicating that collapsing or collapsed colonies due to varroa do not get robbed?  That also sounds as rare and unusual as the reports that CCD equipment is left alone by bees and pests.  If true, then where do mite bombs come from?
