Those charts bring to mind a unit of measurement of thermal conductivity,
very useful for calculating the heat transmission through walls, for its
comical mix of measurement systems, as it is something that looks on paper
like the sound of fingernails screeching on a chalkboard:

BThU/hour/sq ft/cm/degrees F

That's "British Thermal Units per hour per square foot of wall per cm (of
wall thickness) per degrees F (difference between inside and outside
temps)".

I doubt it will be of much value in working out the thermal conductivity of
a beehive.

One has to laugh, otherwise you'd go stark raving mad.
