I would say the opposite: the future of Bee-L depends on the avoidance of this type of time waster. You may think it's appropriate to discuss everything from astronomy to the weather, but I remember Aaron's herculean effort to make Bee-L about bees and bee related themes. That does not include everything under the sun — there's Facebook and Twitter for free for alls.
