I´ve been doing some more reading and comparing mite treatments and the
most benefits seem to be gained in improved formulations and application
methods from either
a) extended treatment period
b) better dosage adjustment
c) combination of treatments
After seeing the great results of thymol dust in this paper from last
december https://doi.org/10.1093/jee/toaa218 (especially also looking at
the number of dead bees, frames of brood in spring) I am wondering why
there isn't a (popular) thymol dust product out there yet? User safety?
Great efficacies of powdered thymol can be found in literature going back
to at least 1991.

(looking at the x-axis label they should have heeded BEE-L mods
recommendation to "Poofreed Everting" )
