BEE-L has other uses besides exchange of information and opinion.  It was because of my contributions that  I was contacted by Dave MacFawn of S.Carolina who asked me (in the UK) to co-author a bee book with him.  It took several months of email exchanges to get Getting the Best from Your Bees published but t was an interesting exercise and worth the effort.
