Or, finding a yard of 80 hives being over-run by ants pouring up from cracks in the summer baked adobe clay. Or, finding that emptying a sack of diazinon on the ground in the bee yard and having the temperature go above 95° F causes more hives to die than the ants. Having to borrow a truck big enough to hold 80 hives and move them the hell out of there, to a spot where they will probably make less than half as much honey. Or going on vacation for the first time in years, only to have someone call you to tell you to move a yard of bees off the property they are going to bulldoze, that they haven't even signed the deed yet on. And then to have someone else call and say not to worry about it, they paid *him* to move them. That kind of pain.
