After more than 20 years, I am not sure about the "Bee-L demographic." No-one has bothered to poll the changing cast of characters. But it's part of the world we live in that big shots criticize small fry and vice versa. Everybody is looking for a scapegoat or a whipping boy.
There's more than one way to skin a cat, as they say. My son told me he was so puzzled by that expression, he looked it up. It's not cats they're talking about at all, he said. They're skinning catfish.
