An article about bees dying in magnolia flowers. Anyone else see this?

My first reaction is M. Grandiflora blooms late in the year, when lots of bees are wearing out anyway. I see dead bees on other flowers at that time.

Maybe I’ve been overlooking a more nefarious cause. The Phantom of the Arboretum.

Yours, Megan Hughes
